Al began his lifelong musical journey when he began playing the clarinet and keyboard while a 6th grader in his hometown of Jackson, Michigan.  Since then, he has played bass and sung with several choirs and bands in Colorado.  He recently relocated with his wife, Jo, to Green Valley, where he currently enjoys making music with several local groups, including the Bountiful Bluegrass and Roots Band.
